Fall in love with food again at Le Mousso

I fell in love with food again last night. And I have a newfound fascination for the mastermind behind it all: Antonin Mousseau-Rivard. I'm in awe and filled with sincere admiration. I bow down! The self taught Chef is both an intellect and an artist. A perfect balance of Ying and Yang.

The 11 succulent, delicate, refined and fabulous small plates that we were served were intricately thought out to be part of a set menu, unusual tactic for a Montreal restaurant. But it seriously pays off! Le Mousso is nothing like you've experienced in this city before; it's unique and out of the box, which is absolutely refreshing!

And what to say of the vibe of the place? It was just perfect! With hip hop beats making their way to the resonant conversations, and the minimalist, intimate, yet warm design, the place is nothing close to being stuck up. The staff was super friendly and welcoming. At times it almost felt like they were following and smooth dance choreography.

I know, I'm about 2 years behind as the place opened back in the fall of 2015, but it's never too late to catch up, right? And if I were you I would not hesitate a second to pick this place for your next big night out. It'll be a little on the pricey side, sure, but it'll be completely worth. Trust me. I hope you'll fall in love like I did.

Oh yeah, on a last note. Make sure to take the Metro or Uber your evening... this is a place where it's good to splurge creative drinks and good natural wines!
