Iconic in Venice Beach: The Rose Café

For the past 3 years I’ve had to come to LA so many times I’ve lost count of the total! What I know from that is that I’ve come to deeply love this incredible city for many different reasons and it holds a really special place in my heart. Because I’ve spent so much time in the city, I have my little routine along with my favorite spots where I like to hang. Closer to the water is where I like to be so Venice Beach has become one of my absolute favorite places in the world for its vibrant energy, its people, its excentricity. In Venice, there are sooooo many restaurants and shops, it can get dizzing trying to pick the best spots. One place I still hadn’t had the opportunity to try is the Rose Café in Venice Beach. The place has been around since 1979! Now that’s a might long time in a city that changes by the minute! But the place is still rockin’ even after 38 years. If you take a look at my pictures, you’ll see that the place is absolutely stunning (and gigantic!), which probably helps when you want people to keep coming back! Brunch on the weekend is an absolute must but they don’t take reservations so if you don’t want to wait in line for too long, make sure you don’t get up too late! I came here with my 6 year old and we had a lot of fun and the menu was super accessible to him. Like most places out in California, kids are welcomed and super well served all over, no matter how fancy or trendy the restaurant is. This is one of the things I really like out there. So if you’re planning a little city escape in LA soon and you’re looking for fresh, cool and tasty place to have brunch (or lunch, or dinner!!!), this iconic place is the place to be.
